...

So I called in sick today, was told that unless I was really ill I needed to come in because we're shorthanded. So I come in, and I just learned that I get to work while sick and I don't get promoted.

I'm so very frustrated and mad right now.

I went through almost the same thing where I work. Only 2 alternayives, stay and get over it or take your know how someplace else. Emmaus needs a real financial aid person on staff. ;)

Heh, does that stuff run in the blood?

I am poking around for something at least part time for the evenings. Or a bank job somewhere else.

I am not sure if it does, but you would be doing a good deed by helping EBC get things strait when it comes to $$$.

By the way, do you bleed blue and white when you cut yourself shaving?

Erik, you need to qualify that statement...

I have a coworker here talking to her contacts at other banks looking for opportunities.

And before anything gets any farther, I don't bash EBC and won't have it on my blog, just FYI.

Hey, you can always come to Akron if you need a change of scenery! We have a spare bedroom but it's going to be my office, so...not sure where I was going with that...

I was just poking some fun at the place I graduated from. Seemed to fit the motifs of how Jeff and I used to joke about some things (not this one in particular)

Still, I think that the school has not used its money in the best ways possible. I think it was a mistake to move from the strong financial position the school was in to one of a huge amount of debt.

I know this from personal experience. Amanda and I have had a hard time because all of our school debt combined and then other debt we incurred because we were not careful.

Sorry if you were offended.
