4 pork chops, 3/4 inch thick
1 onion, sliced
2 red apples, sliced
2 Tablespoons of Balsamic vinagrette dressing
1 teaspoon of dried thyme leaves
2c. sliced mushrooms
1 1/2c. white minute rice (uncooked)
10 1/2oz. chicken broth
broth can of water
Cook pork in large sauce pan sprayed with non-stick cooking spray until brown on both sides
add onions, mushrooms and dressing, cook for about 5 minutes
Add apples, broth, water, rice, thyme and stir until cooked through.
Made that last night for my roommates. It's from the Food &Family Magazine that I mentioned below. Was good stuff.

WOW...color me impressed! I have some easy recipes you might like to try, too...maybe I'll be a nice sister and send them to you.
I did not know you cooked. I guess you have to when you don't live in the dorms!
Kraft just launched their fall line of recipes...a bunch of new stuff! I printed off a bunch of them to try. You might like their weekly planners - where you buy one bag of groceries and they give you meals for a week.
I have started freezing everything rather than saving the leftovers for the next day. Since there is just two of us, we ALWAYS have leftovers and the next day it's just not as appealing.
