Best. Magazine. Ever

This weekend I was up in NW Iowa visiting my maternal grandmother and that side of the family. Saturday we met up at my favorite Aunt Joyce's house and the ladies were swapping recipies. My favorite Aunt Lori (let me explain. Mom has three sisters. There's my favorite Aunt Joyce and my favorite Aunt Lori and my Aunt Esther) had a magazine from Kraft called... Food & Family, I believe. I know there was assonance and an ampersand (ooo, look, aliteration). But it's this magazine they put out seasonally, and it's FREE. Appeals to my half-Dutch nearly-impoverished heart. It's filled with lots of simple recipies that look stinkin' good. Even the ads had recipies on them. I signed myself and my mother up for it. Lori let me keep four of them, which I promptly left in my parents' SUV. Anyway, check out www.kraftfoods.com/share to sign up. Worth every penny you don't pay, I promise.

It was a good weekend. And my cousin's 7 month old daughter is very cute, content and only spit up on my twice. Got to hold her twice as well... I'm sure there's not a connection there... 'twas a good weekend. What does one call his cousin's daughter?

I totally already subscribe. You can get all the recipes that are in the magazine at their website, too. Jason is reaping the benefits of this website, just ask him!

Although I was pleasantly surprised to find out the Best. Magazine. Ever. is Kraft Food & Family...I thought for sure it would be something weird...like Swords Monthly or something...

ooo... does Swords Monthly exist?

You should start it. I have vast knowledge of magazine production, you know. Find an investor and we'll go for it.

AManda loves that magazine. She gets all kinds of great dishes from it.

I love swords too, but I could never afford to buy them.
